35 get black belt in National judo workshop

A five-day long National judo workshop, featuring 52 judokas from 10 states, concluded at KIIT campus in Bhubaneswar today. Among the participants, 35 secured first dan black belt, while 11 got second dan black belt. Ten also obtained National diploma in officiating.

Shabir Singh, S Joshi and Deep Shah supervised the workshop, which was hosted by Orissa State Judo Association. Judo Federation of India secretary Mukesh Kumar, KIIT founder secretary Achyut Samant, state association president Priyabrat Pattnaik and secretary Gitanjali Panda gave away the belts and certificates at the closing function.
